June 1, 2008. Location: Spider House, Austin, TX.

Board Members present:

  • Silona Bonewald - President
  • Bob Blakley - Elected to Board during the meeting
  • Michelle DeFrance - Treasurer
  • Joshua Gay - Membership Chair (present remotely)
  • Edwin Wise - Secretary (present remotely)

Board Members absent:

  • Kai Mantsch - Removed from Board during the meeting

Advisory members present:

  • J. Robinson Wheeler
  • Randy Zagar

Votes were taken to install Bob Blakley as an official serving LoTV Board member, and to remove Kai Mantsch (and ??? - one other prior board member who had not been attending meetings) from the Board, after his having voluntarily stepped down. Votes were approved by a quorum.

Discussions with Treasurer as to the Financial Status of the organization.

Discussions concerning the Codeathon and its sponsorship, and of Silona's networking at various conferences.

Discussions of the Identity book (graphic novel) and how it might work.

Discussions of the Burton Group white paper on Identity.

Meeting adjourned by quorum vote.
